Nice value for money hotel

Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Great swimming pool and plenty of sun beds. Clean room. The hotel has an old fashioned feel about it but that adds to its charm for me. Good value for money.

Hotel is situated quite a way up in the hills from the beach. This is a small complaint as the hotel offer a free bus service regularly to the beach throughout the day. We also had a hire car so not a big problem.

What was the highlight of Hotel Valentin Son Bou

A relaxing week

I stayed at Valentin Son Bou for 1 week all inclusive on my own and had the best time. Upon arrival, my room had a leak from the aircon but within half hour I got moved to another room (with a sea view which was an upgrade!) All staff were extremely nice, either at the restaurant, bars, cleaning and reception. The pool was amazing, and there were always subbeds available. There is a free shuttle to the beach which is convenient, but I wasn’t a fan of Son Bou beach, I think other beaches in the island are more stricking. The location is a bit isolated so if you want to do something at night you definitely need a vehicle. I rented a scooter for 2 days from reception and I definitely recommend it, it’s the best way to explore the island! The food was good with a lot of choice. Overall I’d definitely want to come back!

Music/entertainment was really loud until 11pm. Also I wished there were a couple more choices of cocktails in the all-inclusive package.

Fantastic hotel for a relaxed week away in the sun.

Fantastic food. Very friendly staff. Clean and attractive hotel. Beautiful pool area. Great bus service to the beach.

Room was a little outdated. Would have liked the adult only bar open in the evenings.

Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again how ever

It was fairly average compared to most hotels to be honest, the staff how ever were friendly and decent

The buffet was limited, the first room we were put in looked nothing like what we booked. We complained and they moved us without question, as they were well aware the room was sub standard and small. No privacy, balcony or anything like what was shown online prior to booking

Amazing, great food, very clean and wonderful staff!!

This hotel was spotless, the maids do a really good job at cleaning the rooms everyday always fresh towels. We had a slight issue on arrival were we had paid to upgrade our view and the view wasn’t great as it was blocked by a roof. The staff were able to sort this out and get us another room which was much better. Entertainment was great and lots of activities throughout the day. The staff were so so helpful, the most well mannered, friendly people and are a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was AMAZING and so were the cocktails (wish we had of went all inclusive). Easy to get a sun lounger and would definitely recommend Valentin Son Bou :)

Excellent hotel in a beautiful island

Superb meals, rooms quiet, staff uniformly helpful and friendly.

It’s on top of a hill so getting back up from the beach is difficult if you’ve missed the last shuttle bus (at 1.05pm and 8.05pm).

Thoroughly enjoyable week with no downsides whatsoever.

The staff were phenomenal and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was brilliant. Smiles everywhere you looked guests and staff. Food very good and whilst we went all inclusive the drinks were reasonably priced. Pool and entertainment throughout the day were fabulous.

Couldn't be faulted.

Well managed set up, exceptionally clean, superb staff

Breakfast was okay, although the yoghurt could’ve been nicer! However, the staff were exceedingly pleasant facilities were exceptionally clean, and the pool was immaculate!

Although the evening entertainment was good, we would’ve preferred, maybe some more authentic local music

Family oriented hotel

Lovely pool and pool bar. Very clean. Plenty of sun beds. Good quality and variety of food.

I hadn't expected the level of "fun" activities. They were a bit intrusive for those with no inclination to join in. They were trying a bit too hard. Lots of people did like them... but not this girl. Prefer a quieter ambience, especially in the evenings.

Good value for money but you get stuck to the hotel if you don’t have your own car.

Very clean and well-maintained

Location is on top of the hill. there is every 30-minute service to the beach. however, there is no arranged tours around the island or they facilitate booking tours. the place seems to cater for people who want to stay in the hotel all the time. they have no activities for people who want to explore places outside the hotel.

I had the best vacation, would definitely come back to Valentin Son Bou.

I had en excellent stay at Valentin Son Bou! The view to the sea and pool was beautiful, breakfast buffet was excellent with a great variety of foods. Five stars to the cleanliness of the hotel!! It was always amazing to come back after the clean up, it is visible that they are doing great work and to add, the cleaning ladies were extremely sweet at all times. Also people at reception were also lovely and very positive, always helpful - Rasa, Tereza and Irati. Animation had great activities, Paddle Yoga was very fun.
